ARTEMIS BOOKSHOP LEÓN – BULEVAR AZUL LIBROS LTD.
THE APPROACHED PROBLEM:
Artemis Bookshop is a reference bookshop in León. Every day lots of customers consult it directly or access its web page and they request new books, sold out editions or educational handbooks. Many of these requests must be fulfilled by orders having different delivery times. That is why a lot of books are received at Artemis Bookshop every day and subsequently customers must collect them personally. Notifying all these customers telephonically was taking too much time.
SOLUTION:
A web application has been made, which was linked to Artemis Bookshop’s cusomers database. The request receiving personnel rapidly, surely and efficiently sends a SMS to the customers who then can come to collect the requested items. The possibility of personalizing texts makes from it a very effective solution for different types of communication.
PRODUCTS:
It was BABIA SMS, fully developed by S3P Technology, which was the only product brought into operation and did not required a special configuration on Artemis Bookshop’s computers.
