THE APPROACHED PROBLEM:
At present, R3 Estate Agency has 2 offices in León city and a team of representatives that access its servers located in the central office of León across the Internet and also across 3G and Wifi.
The great e-mail flux was creating difficulties to mobile customers’ and local office’s work on the main database.

SOLUTION:
After having accurately analyzed Climalia Public LTD’s web, S3P Technology has not only replaced the central office’s IPsec tunnel end points system, bur also formulated a set of improvements in the Watchguard Firebox X500 perimetral firewall system.

• Updating of the 9th firmware version in the central firewall.
• Modification of remote access policies for errors management.
• Revision of Internet access policies.
• Execution of complete reference documentation regarding all the offices and of a broad web outline.

Once the last available software version was updated, the outgoing Internet traffic was balanced by using two ADSL lines on the same perimetral firewall and differentiating the traffic type to use (e-mail, VPN, Internet surfing, etc.).

Additionally, a safe wireless access point to servers and Internet through mobile devices has been installed. The necessary services are accessed through this wireless network, wholly isolated from the local one.
